It’s time for a quick coffee chat, so grab a drink and join me.
Thank you for your patience the last 2 weeks. I’ve now settled into my new house and have working internet! It hasn’t been smooth, there’s always drama when there’s a house move involved, but it’s all sorted now. I’m still figuring out my surroundings and exploring London. It’s been quite a change moving from Scotland to London but there are pros and cons on both sides so all good!
I haven’t settled into my new job yet but I know for a fact that it will be a lot more demanding than my old one. It is a great career move and when things settle down we might have a coffee chat about it, but for now all I can say is that it demands a lot more of my time. One of the reasons I left my old job was because I didn’t find it challenging and I got bored quite quickly, which on the plus side gave me a lot of extra time to work on this blog. However, I won’t be able to keep up the 3 posts a week schedule with this new job and so I will be taking it back to how it was when I started this blog, 2 posts a week published on Mondays and Thusrdays at 6pm GMT.
Rest assured that this blog means a lot to me and I know it’s important for many of you too. I am commited to this blog and this is not giving up, just re-arranging of time. I actually think that this blog will benefit from my career move (more details in another coffee chat) at the very least because as I become a better and more experienced chemist, the posts will improve too. When the new job settles and perhaps I have more time, I might change it back to 3 posts. For now, 2 it is!
As always please keep sending me your suggestions. Let me know what you want to read about, which concepts or products interest you, what you like and don’t like and any suggestions to make this blog better.
