Triyit Discovery Club October 2019 -Unboxing and Product Reviews

Time for another Triyit box!

Triyit is a product discovery club that allows you to try new products, at home, for free! It is a little bit like Influenster with one of the differences being that Triyit is actually UK based.

All you need to do is go to and create a personal profile, where you can tell them about your likes and dislikes, personal habits, like exercising, or what type of food you like etc. Then, every now and again you will receive a free box with some goodies in it, that match some part of your profile.

Unlike Influenster, you don’t have to fill out a survey every time before qualifying for a box, your personal profile automatically does that for you. After you qualify for a box Triyit will even send you a text message and email to let you know that there are some goodies on the way to you. However, you won’t know what the box contains until you actually open it, which brings an element of excitement too.

The products contained in the box are usually full size. All of this is completely free and all they ask in return is that you share your reviews and pictures on social media in order to further qualify for more boxes. The more you share the more priority points you gain and the higher your chances to receive another box next time.

So, get some stuff for free and then talk about them. How much easier could it be? I highly recommend you sign up, you have nothing to lose and remember it’s completely free just click here.

Enough chit chat, let’s get to this box and have a look at the products in more detail. These are short reviews that cover first impressions and experiences from using the products. Bear in mind that these are my personal opinions, what worked for me might not work for you and vice versa, please leave your comments below!

The Triyit box comes in a nice shade of orange and it has the Triyit logo at the top, some social media icons, and the Triyit website and moto on the sides. It’s a very sturdy box of good quality that you can reuse for storage or further crafts if you wish.

Inside the box there is a specific campaign booklet that contains more information about the products and a reminder leaflet to share pictures and reviews.

The box contained 5 food and drink consumable products from different brands. Let’s have a look at the products individually.

Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Granola Bar

This snack bar contains 202kcals, 9g of fat, 25g of carbohydrates, 4g of protein and 2.2g of fibre. The protein content is low so it is essentially an energy bar to keep you going throughout the day.

The bar looks appetising and it tastes great. It’s soft to eat (with the exception of the nuts) meaning that you don’t have to put a lot of effort to break a piece off the bar. I personally love that as I find that too many bars out there these days are too dry and hard. It’s not as crunchy as the name would suggest but in my opinion that’s a good thing.

It is delicious and even has a subtle sweet taste, so it will even please your sweet tooth cravings. I initially wanted to only try a little piece but ended up munching the entire thing within minutes. Dangerous stuff, it’s already on my shopping list! The only thing that lets it down is the low protein content.

One 45g bar retails for £0.90 or you can buy a box of 4 x 32g for £2.00. If you are looking for energy snack bars this is definitely a nice option. SCORE = 9/10

Juice Burst in Blood Orange and Orange & Carrot

These juices contain half a fruit per bottle and are vegan friendly. They contain stevia though which I am personally not a fan of because it has a characteristic taste.

One 500mL bottle contains 125kcals, less than 2.5g of fat, 27-24g of carbohydrates, less than 2.5g of fibre and protein.

Both of them taste nice but I personally liked the Orange & Carrot better. They are much thinner in texture than you would expect a fresh juice to be but that also means they can be easier to drink. I couldn’t taste the stevia so that’s also a plus.

One 500mL bottle retails for £1.25. SCORE = 7/10

Graze Sweet Chilli Crunch

I have to be honest, I’m probably a little bias here. I used to be a subscriber to the graze boxes, about 6 years ago, and I stopped because I ended up paying for boxes I didn’t receive and didn’t get refunded. Since then I never bought Graze products.

With all that being said, this snack would have been nice if I could eat spicy food. Unfortunately, my body doesn’t agree with spicy! Nevertheless, this 31g pack contains 139kcals, 5.2g of fat, 17g of carbohydrates, 3.1g of fibre and 4.7g of protein.

This could be a great snack if you are looking for an energy input, but like the previous snack, it is low in protein. As a result, it really depends on what your dietary needs are, if you are just looking for a quick energy input or something to keep you going until dinner then this could be a good option.

You can buy a bigger, 104g pack for £3.  This 31g pack retails around £1.50. I won’t score this product since I couldn’t properly taste it (spicy) and I am probably bias.

Swisse me Boost Me Mango Energy Blend

Another energy product, where is the protein! At least this one contains slightly higher protein than the previous.

One 120g satchel contains 82kcals, 0.1g of fat, 13g of carbohydrates, 2.2g of fibre and 6.1g of protein.

This product is essentially a smoothie blend of apple purée, mango purée, carrot purée, hydrolysed collagen and lemon juice. Bear in mind that the collagen contained will not necessarily give you beauty advantages, collagen can break down in our stomach which means you will likely be digesting amino acids. That’s also beneficial though but not as beneficial as if you were to take an amino acid supplement which would contain a larger variety of them. Nevertheless, for a juice it’s not bad.

The texture is not too thick or too thin, it’s perfect for a smooth smoothie! It has an orangey colour and it literally tastes like a combination of apple, mango and carrot. I could get a different fruit taste with each sip. It’s actually really pleasant and in a strange but positive way it reminded me of baby food.

You can buy 8 x 120g for £14.99. I’d be quite interested in trying out more flavours. SCORE = 8/10

Overall, I really enjoyed trying out the products in this box. I love Triyit and their concept, it’s great not just for their customers but for the public too. We are moving to an era where you wouldn’t purchase before trying and this kind of initiatives are always welcome, especially when they are free!

So, what are you waiting for, just sign up at

All of these products are definitely worth a try out. My favourite by far was the Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Granola Bar.

I’d like to thank Triyit for sending me these products for free.
