This month’s Glossybox theme was about bringing the world to you and it contained products from all over the world. Nice concept especially during lockdown!
The box contained 5 products as always, of which all were full size!
Let’s have a look at the products in more detail. These are short reviews that cover first impressions and experiences from using the products. For full reviews, including ingredient analysis and if I would recommend a product or not, check out: Beauty In-depth Reviews & Ingredient Analysis (all articles here). Bear in mind that these are my personal opinions and that beauty is a very personal thing, we all have different skin, requirements and biological build which can influence things. What worked for me might not work for you and vice versa, please leave your comments below

Huda Beauty Life-Liner Very Vanta
This dual eyeliner has a felt tip liquid liner on one side and a pencil liner on the other. Although, thankfully is the type of pencil liner that doesn’t need sharpening!
Both sides work well, although the packaging is a little confusing. One side opens by unscrewing and the other by pulling, so there will be times when you are sat there pulling or trying to unscrew the wrong side with no effect!
In general though the product looks nice and simple and works well. It’s not the best eyeliner out there but neither the worst. I will use it up but nothing beats the price and quality of the Nyx Liquid Eyeliner!
This is a full size, 0.25g and 1.5mL, liner which lasts for 18M and retails for £18. SCORE = 8/10
The Vintage Cosmetic Company Makeup Removing Cloth
These cloths are very cute and in general I like the concept of the Vintage Cosmetics. The cloths work well, they sometimes leave a little fluff behind but that’s the case for most cloths of this type. The issue usually goes away with the more you use and wash them.
These are great for when you want to wet wash your face over the sink. The pack contains 2 full size cloths that are 100% polyester. The cloths have two different surfaces on each side and one is meant to be for exfoliation. It doesn’t really work this way but that’s for the best, you wouldn’t want a harsh side. Both sides are nice and soft. This product retails for £7.99. SCORE = 9/10
Laplash Cosmetics Brush Set
This set contains two brushes that are both soft and work well. They look simple but elegant but unfortunately, have a strong solvent smell. This smell is likely from the packaging and should go away with washing though.
These brushes are full size and the set retails for £15. As far as brush prices go it’s not bad but still somehow feels expensive because they look and feel very ordinary and the wow factor isn’t there. SCORE = 7/10
Modelco Liquid Metal Eyeshadow
I’m not a fan of liquid eyeshadows because they tend to feel very heavy and sometimes even sticky. This shadow works and looks beautiful but you can’t manipulate it as much as powder shadows.
This 4mL tube is full size, lasts for 12M and retails for £15. SCORE = 7/10
Beautaniq Beauty Guardian Angel Eye Gels
This eye mask is pleasant to use and contains some good ingredients. In general though, it is lacking ingredient-wise and is much less impactfull that other ones in the market.
I didn’t notice any difference in my under eye skin but that’s ok, you shouldn’t be noticing big differences with masks anyway otherwise, this could be a sign that your skincare regime is lacking!
It is cruelty free, lasts for ~24M and retails for ~£5. SCORE = 6/10
Overall, this month’s box contained interesting items but was missing the wow factor. It wasn’t as exciting as other months and it felt cheap.
Initial box score, in terms of products and first feelings = 6/10
Overall box score after product testing (average of product scores) = 7.4/10
Box value = £60.99
Star product = The Vintage Cosmetic Company Makeup Removing Cloth and Huda Beauty Life-Liner Very Vanta
